Terms and Conditions

By Completing and signing the booking form you agree to the following terms and conditions.

These Contract Terms and Conditions are legally binding and contain the Agreement between the Hirer and the Beautiful Bell Tents relating to the use of our Tents and Hot tubs during the hiring of Equipment.

1. Beautiful Bell tents bookings require a holding refundable £50 deposit per Bell tent at the time of booking from the customer. This deposit is fully refundable providing there is no damage to any of our equipment within 7 days.

2. If you wish to cancel your booking once you have paid your initial deposit please notify us immediately. In these circumstances, your initial deposit is nonreturnable and any contract is rendered void. If you cancel once you have paid the full cost of your tent hire, we are unable to return any monies to you, unless we are able to rebook the bell tent for the period in question. In these circumstances we may offer the tent(s) at a reduced rental to encourage a late booking and any money we recover we will refund to you.


3. Your hire booking will be treated as cancelled if the balance of the hire payment is not received by us by the date specified on the booking form (14 days before the commencement of your hire) or unless alternate payment terms have been agreed. 


4. Beautiful Bell Tents reserve the right to cancel your hire booking at any time. In the unlikely event of this happening, a full refund will be made, however we will not accept responsibility or liability for losses or any other costs incurred as a result.


5.In the event of extreme or adverse weather conditions making it impossible to erect the bell tent(s), Beautiful Bell Tents cannot accept any responsibility or liability for losses or other costs incurred as a result. In this situation we will work with you to offer you and alternative site/date, where possible.


6. The total payment for the party is due 14 days prior to set up.

7. Any damages or stains to tents, teepees, bedding or any other hire equipment will result in extra costs and will be invoiced to you. It is not always possible to check all damage whilst we are clearing away due to time restraints so there may be occasions where we have to contact you after everything has been checked thoroughly. To avoid stains that we cannot remove, we ask that food and drink is not consumed inside the tents, marker pens not to be used and also any nail varnish applied is completely dry. If children are wearing any sort of make up we would ask that they wash it off before they snuggle up in to bed.

8. Delivery & collection is included in our costs however if the customer lives outside of the 20-mile radius to St Ives we will provide a quotation for transport.

9.All prices are subject to change, however prices quoted at time of the booking will always be honoured.

10. It is the responsibility of the customer to take duty of care and supervise children with hire equipment.

11. Beautiful Bell tents does not recommend our services for children from 5 years old however it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that any children under the age of 5 years old will be fully supervised at all times. Children under the age of 5 should not be left overnight in Teepees or Bell tents unsupervised.

12. It is the responsibility of the customer to check if any children have any food allergies or skin allergies if they book any of our packages that provide food or spa hampers.

13. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure than no candles, or any other naked flames or matches are in reach of the children due to fire hazards especially around all of the materials and decorations which although are all CE certified are still flammable and must be kept away from fire.

14. Smoking is strictly prohibited for fire hazard and also to prevent cigarette smoke odour on our tents and equipment. If it is found that the tents have been in a smoke environment we would need to have the tent professionally cleaned at the cost of £100.00 which would be billed to you.

15. Beautiful Bell tents ask that customers refrain from allowing pets on any of the hire equipment.

Hot Tub T's and C's

When you make a booking you do so in agreement to the terms & conditions outlined below. If any term in this contract cannot be enforced or agreed then the hire of equipment will not be supplied.

Any variation of the above terms are by written agreement between Sally’s Slumber parties and the hirer and this must be signed by both parties. All equipment remains at all times the property of Sally’s Slumber Parties

Upon paying your deposit, you are bound by the terms set out in this agreement. Please contact us should you have any queries regarding our Hire Agreement.

Hire charges, deposits and payment terms

You must pay the hire charges shown in the hire contract. These charges will refer to the dates indicated.

You must pay all charges, balance and all other charges you owe 14 days prior to booking.

A booking deposit of £50 is charged on arranging a hire date of which is refundable, this must be done using a credit/debit card, bank transfer (BACS) or PayPal.

Any costs incurred by Beeautiful Bell tents and more due to damage, excessive cleaning or non-working parts will be invoiced accordingly.

Hire periods

The full hire period is the dates shown on the hire contract.

At the end of the full hire period, goods not made available for collection will be placed back on hire for a further hire period and at the same hire charge. You must pay the extra expenses when we ask for them, to include any additional costs incurred.

The contract comes into effect when you have signed and agreed to keep to these conditions of the agreement and we have accepted your order.

Your responsibility when hiring goods

General conditions

You must assist us in the delivery and collection at your location. You must give us clear instructions, and take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of our people. We accept no responsibility for any damage or injuries caused.

The hirer will supply the electricity and water for the equipment in the hire period. You must make sure you have a suitable supply of electricity and it must be in close proximity.

A flat level base is required to sit the hot tub on; this can be slabbed, concrete, blocks, decking or any firm hard standing. Grassed areas are not ideal but in some cases using OSB board (2 x 8ft x 4ft boards) or similar may be possible, if the ground is flat level and hard during the summer months we provide a foam flooring to stop any foreign objects cutting or piercing the tubs or spas. Although our hire tubs are 6 ft x 6 ft they need a minimum space of 7ft x 7ft for safety. You must ensure that there is sufficient access to get the spa into your chosen space, if access is not possible there will, under no circumstances, be any refunds.

The hirer will inspect the equipment with Beautiful Bell tents and more and note any signs of damage on the equipment. You become responsible for the goods when you receive the hired equipment. Please take extra care to stop sharp objects from being around or in the hot tub and prevent people from jumping in or on the hot tub.

The hirer will not allow anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs to use the equipment. The hirer will not attempt to or move the equipment from the location that the owner has placed it. The hirer will not tamper or adjust any aspect of the equipment mechanics or electrics. You will be responsible for any death, injury, loss or damage caused by the goods being misused while they are hired by you.

You must not sell or in any way give up control of the goods.

Chemicals

You will be supplied with ample chemicals for the duration of your hire period, do not use or add any other chemicals to the water other than chemicals supplied by Beautiful Bell Tents. Do not add bubble bath, foam bath or washing up liquid of any description. Failing to comply with these instructions may cause severe damage to your skin or body.

The hirer will add chemicals required to maintain the water in the hot tub and understand the risks involved in not managing the water as per the manufacturer’s instructions. The pH range of the water must be kept at all times in the range 7.2-7.6 using the test kit and adjusters provided. Chlorine levels must be kept at 3-5ppm at all times, please be aware that the effectiveness of chlorine is affected by both the pH level of the water and the number of bathers using the spa. Check the chlorine level of the spa pool regularly and add chlorine in capfuls to keep the dose rate as prescribed.

The hire of our hot tubs fall within two categories, Domestic Hire, for use of a small group of people within a domestic setting and commercial use including but not limited to use by members of the public or for a small number of customers in a business setting/ non-domestic.

Domestic use

For domestic use we advise no more than 10 people use the spa throughout the hire period, ensuring water is drained and fresh is put in should it become discoloured/dirty. It is the responsibility of the person hiring the spa to maintain the chemical levels and keep the water safe and clean for use. It is not the responsibility of Sally’s Slumber parties or any associates/employees of Beautiful Bell tents and more.

Electrical goods

If any part of the goods is electrical, it should be used with the original plugs and sockets fitted to it.

If the goods break down or are not working properly you must report this to us immediately. You must not use the goods or repair them unless we have agreed otherwise.

You must tell us immediately if the goods are involved in an accident resulting in damage to the goods or to other property, or injury to any person.

Safety instructions when hiring goods

You must make sure that everyone who uses the goods is properly instructed on how to use them safely and correctly, and that they have all the instructions we have supplied. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure the goods are not misused.

You must ensure everyone using the goods is in a sound healthy and fit state or have the permission of their doctor where appropriate. Users must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Supervision should be provided where necessary.

Limits of our liability

All the times and dates we quote for delivering or collecting the goods are approximate. We will not be liable for any delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If the goods break down or stop working, we will determine the problem as soon as possible, after you have reported it to us, and then try to replace them or repair the fault as soon as reasonably possible.

We will not be liable for any injury or damage caused to your property. If you hire the goods for use in a business, we will not be liable for any indirect loss or any loss of business or profits, savings you expect to make, wages, fees or expenses caused by the goods or any part of them breaking down or stopping working correctly.

Lost, stolen, damaged or unclean hired goods

You are responsible for looking after the goods and returning them to us in good working order as they were received in. Hot tub must be emptied 3 hours prior to collection as a minimum.

You must pay us the cost of replacing any goods, which are lost or stolen or damaged beyond economic repair. You should ensure the goods for the replacement cost. If you receive any money as settlement of any claim relating to the damage or loss or theft of the goods, you must hold that money separately in trust for us and pay it to us when we ask you to. You must not negotiate any claim without our permission.

Our rights of access

We may enter any land or premises where we reasonably believe the goods are.

We may do this at reasonable times and after giving reasonable notice. We can only have access if we need to inspect, test, repair, service, replace or repossess the goods.

Cornavirus Covid -19

Due to covid-19 we are offering a no contact drop off and collection service, we ask that you put the electricity supply and water supply within reach for us and allow us to set up without contact. Please have your gate open ready for us to take in the hot tub. On collection we ask that the hot tub is already emptied and disconnected ready for us to quickly take down and leave your property.
